Chile... _____________________ It's not all too often you get great light timed perfectly with a really long exposure but this image just worked out perfectly! At the time, there were a lot of Lenticular Clouds circling the peaks around Paine Grande & Cuernos del Paine (The Horns on right side of the mountain range). The sun was playing havoc with a lot of our long exposures... 3/4 of the way through an exposure the sun would pop through the clouds and blow out the image. On our last attempt the light was perfect for this 13 minute exposure & for a brief 15 seconds the sun burst through & added these warm tones on the rocks in the foreground, the perfect amount of sun making for some really dramatic light. This is a personal favourite...what do you guys think?
