Bansphatak flower market, Varanasi . . A visit to the local flower market early in the morning is always a treat. It's becomes even more interesting when the market is just near one of the most sacred Hindu temples and inside a holy city. Compared to the flower markets I have seen, this place is tiny and more like a courtyard, but there are quite a few vendors here so activity level is quite high. You can climb up the stairs and get a aerial view of the place. Walking inside the market is tricky since there are so many people inside this tiny place. Most of the flowers that you get here are commonly found across India. However there were a couple of things which I found unique here which were garlands made of Claotropis flowers and small garlands made of sleeping hibiscus. Poisonous fruits like dhatura, which is commonly used as an offering to Lord Shiva, was also on sale here. Surprisingly and thankfully there were no tourists here. The camera wielding folks are best avoided in this place since it will be such a distraction to these people going about there business here. Which why having just a mobile camera on me helped since I could just walk around these people and no many noticed that I was clicking pictures. . . 📷@traveltapri . . #varanasi #ig_varanasi #instamood #streetphotography #indiatravel #ghat #varanasidiaries #yourshot_india #yourshotphotographer #indiaview #travelphotography #travelphotographer #_soi #traveltapri #shotonpixel #teampixel #prilaga #pixelperfect #madebygoogle #googlepixel2 #shotonpixel2 #snapseed #pixel2 #indiatraveljournal #travellife #flowermarkets #indiatravelling #flowermarket #indiatravelmagazine #travelingram (at Bhole Baba Ki Nagari Kashi) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq3eh_AANcF/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1im0mq3rh21h
