I have a feeling that if Harry had been in Slytherin the books would be just like Horns lol

I just fan squealed while reading NOS4A2 because Charlie Manx brought up the trail to the Tree House of the Mind which is Iggy and Merrin’s place in Horns ~ ah~!
I watched Horns last weekend, and as much as I enjoyed it, I can't help but think they left a few things out. These four are the things I was looking forward to seeing, but were left out. (Don't worry, I won't go into detail, if you've read the book you'll know what I'm talking about, and if you haven't, you won't. That's okay too.) 1. Lee's mother, and what she went through in her final months. 2. The tom cat. 3. The moon, and it being put back. 4. The blue skirt. There are some other things, big points, small details, whatever, but I think those 4 should have made it into the movie.
