"I'd say he should hit Mako up for some tips,         but we know his track record." There's no bitterness in her         tone; just mild humour.

Mako jumped a bit. He hadn't expected to hear Korra's voice. He turned his head, glancing back at her. "You know I'm not big on parties," he said with his patented Mako grin. "I like looking at the city on New Year's. Makes me think of all the years I've had here."

He raised his eyebrow at the Avatar. "The way I see it, I ought to be asking you why you're not back down there mingling with the others."
