Finnegan: I apologize, I misjudged you. Your flaws, tough they're glaring and massive, are merely social and not intellectual. I find your work astonishing, and to be perfectly frank, brilliant. Brilliant!
My ship name for them is Igorstein! I came up with it six months ago (hence my name ;)
IGORSTEIN
I like it! Doesn’t sound as dirty as Vigor tho. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
No, but really, what is Vegeta's and Goku's ship name? :D
Lots of folks refer to it as Kakavege, but I’ve also heard GokuxVegeta and VegetaxGoku.
Wow... People are reading into the whole James/Dan thing way too much. I was third row center for Hall H on Saturday and let me tell you, ever since I "wooed" after Paul Mcguigan said it was a love story between Victor and Igor, the energy in that room was incredible and lively and fun. James didn't do it for publicity, he did it because the energy in that room was amazing and Chris Hardwick asked them to act out the scene. James is awesome and Dan gladly went with it :) it was the Con highlight
Hey, thanks for letting us know about the feel in the room :) I hope you had a fantastic time! It sounds like a lot of fun!
I think what people are reacting to is not just the incident at the VF panel, but really the whole day in which James was consistently high energy and a bit over the top. The VF panel, the XMA panel, the smaller interviews with Dan, the smaller interviews with JLaw and Fassy, and Conan were all filled with James being outrageous.
I don’t think he’s doing it for attention or anything like that. Like I said, he’s obviously an inappropriate ball of energy, and Comic Con is already such an excited/energetic atmosphere that I can see it all combining to what we got which was basically MCAVOY UNLEASHED.
I thought he was hilarious, but I can definitely see why some people thought he was a bit too much :)
I respectfully disagree. I think Daniel Radcliffe is the perfect foil for Dane Dehaan's Lucien Carr. The movie perfectly portrayed Allen's coming into his own and the role required subtlety and softness. I've seen Daniel let loose and be enigmatic and exciting but Allen did not require that in the same way as Jack and Lucien. And he's completely different in Woman in Black... Watch A Young Doctor's Notebook. He's a jerk of a character but Dan's role is far more expressive and energetic.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'll watch it when I have the time.
Daniel Radcliffe is an INCREDIBLE actor. Have you seen "Kill Your Darlings"? "Horns"? "A Young Doctor's Notebook"? Even though Dan nailed his performance in the last Harry Potter, he has matured into such a brilliant actor. James is one of the best actors, period, but I know with all of my being that Daniel Radcliffe will not only hold his own against James, he'll nail his performance and carry the film.
I deleted that reblog because I realized that you haven’t actually seen the film. Well, never mind. I guess we all have different opinions. I personally feel that Radcliffe isn’t great as an actor, although he has a great personality. Kill Your Darlings is one of my favorite films ever, but his acting is a huge disappointment for me. In fact, I feel like it’s not a miscast only because he looks like Allen Ginsberg. I find his acting stiff and dull compared to Dane Dehaan and Jack Huston. The problem is not how the character is written as introverted and awkward, but how Radcliffe didn't put himself into the character. He gave a similar performance in Women in Black. There should be two different personalities for two characters in two different films. But somehow I feel like it's one same character for two films. I dislike his acting in the hp films too. In the first few films, I sort of forgave the bad acting because he was so young. Then I realized that he didn't improve at all as he grew. I'm a massive fan for the original books and still find the films not to my liking.
But still, just because I think he's a terrible actor doesn't mean I dislike him. I think he's adorable when he's being himself, like in interviews. I'm sure McAvoy and Andrew Scott won't let me down, and I hope Daniel doesn't either.
It is SO not wrong to ship Igor and Victor! I kid you not, the whole film rests on their incredible relationship. I have a feeling this will undoubtedly be THE ship of the movie and rightfully so. It's a very complex, layered and amazing relationship.
Well, I haven't seen the movie yet, so I don't know. I know it's rarely wrong to ship anyone. Hell, even incest is acceptable! I just feel that shipping without knowing anything about the characters is stupid. I saw the promotion pictures and felt some chemistry between them? I'm not sure how I feel because I've had quite an eventful week. There are major exams coming up, SDCC that's getting me super excited, one fanfic that's currently poking holes on my heart, and it's day 3231746 already I'm still confused of baldavoy. So yeah. I'm very emotionally unstable right now and I'm dubious towards my feeling towards igorstein.
