Diabetes rant for the day!!!
If you don't have diabetes, try not to get it. One thing that torques me off is my blood sugar meter. Twice a day, 7 days a week, in the morning and evening, I have to do a finger stick to check my blood sugar. My meter has to have a strip inserted into it to measure.
Now I can take the finger stick, the shots and the meds, but what I really, truly hate about this whole procedure is when you get all set up, stick the finger, draw the blood into the meter, and then wait your 5 seconds to get your reading and then ...
You get an error and have to do it all over again.
Ughhhhhh!!!!
Now back to the sink to wash hands, get the prep pad, and do it all over again!! And now I have two little pricks on my fingers bleeding.
Yay for me!!! And now I'm done with my rant and sitting down for dinner!
