Did her stupid sister honestly think these guards would manage to keep her locked up?
Sure, some time had passed since Blackfire had been taken to pay for stealing the Centauri Moon Diamond, but most of that was spent during the travels back and forth. To place her into a containment for prison, they had to remove the wrapping-tentacles, and that was when the tamaranean striked. She knew very well how to break through this type of armor, and long before backup arrived, the two policemen were already dead and Blackfire on her way back to earth. With a few minor stops on the way, partly to get rid of some trying to track her down, partly to restock both hunger and energy, but she didn’t intend to wait any longer than the travel would take her. She wasn’t quite sure how to do it yet, but she was going to plan her revenge, and Starfire would regret ever having spoken up against the elder sister!
First though, she would have to come up with a plan. And for that, Blackfire was away from Jump City, far enough that the Tower was nowhere in sight, not even in the far horizon. Where exactly she was? She had no idea, earthen locations weren’t interesting enough to remember the location. The tamaranean was searching for ideas how to get her revenge - maybe some scientific lab willing to do some medieval (in space terms) research on Starfire, or someone to distract the other Titans so that she can take care of her little sister, information about the Titans and how they fought, to find weaknesses; or at the very least some inspiration for what exactly she’d do to her.
Inspiration wasn’t exactly something to get from a shop, though, so she was flying over the places of earth without any destination. She was far off from any cities or villages or whatever, and the most that usually was seen here was a car rushing its way. Therefore, seeing a girl seemingly travel all on her own out here was fascinating.
For a bit, Blackfire kept in the air and watched from far enough away that she assumed the girl had not seen her yet. Eventually though, her curiousity got the better of her - there was seemingly no risk in either the surrounding or the girl anyway, so why not add a little chatting to her journey.
Not while revealing ‘what’ she was while doing so, of course.
The tamaranean landed a bit away, careful to not make any sound that might make the blonde see her before she was ready. Once she was down on the ground, Blackfire stepped out of her landing spot and towards the blonde, carrying a smile.
“Oh, hi! It’s so rare to meet someone out here!”
