I'm guilty

Of being one of those assholes, years ago, before I developed my ed, that said "but you're not skinny," when my roommate at the psych ward told me she was there for anorexia.

She was 13 years old then. I think her name was Casey, or Kasey, but I cant remember for sure. She was tall as all heck and so so pretty. All the way to her soul was pretty. She told me about her life even after I'd been a judgmental prick to her. She never judged anyone during group therapy. She'd be 20 now, wherever shes at I hope shes happy in life.

I think about her constantly, I wish I could tell her I was sorry. I understand now how much it hurts to be invalidated like that. I wish I had understood then.
