I Hope You Find It || Chavery
Avery quickly shooed her animals off the couch, replacing them with blankets and ignoring their looks of annoyance. Chey would be over any minute now, and she didn't want the place to look like the complete mess it did. She checked the fridge for the right kind of food, laid out some movies on the table, biting her lip back as she looked over her living room, hoping that it didn't look like too much of a mess. She gave her kitten, who was now jumping around with Celia's kitten who Avery had picked up earlier, a quick pet on the head as she waited for Chey to come over.
God, poor Chey. Avery knew how much that hurt and it pained her to know Chey was going through the same thing. But at least she wouldn't be alone like Avery had been. Avery'd be there to prevent her from doing anything stupid in grief like she had. Chey meant the entire world to Avery, and she couldn't bear to witness something like that happen to her. She literally shook with anxiousness as she waited for her friend to arrive, her animals were eyeing her with suspicion.
"That's not a chew toy," Avery yelped at her wolf, as she dived and pulled out her small stuffed dog from her wolf's mouth. "Don't hurt him." She pouted and threw him lightly on the couch, giving Lupis a warning glare just as there was a light knock on the door.
"Down, boy," she muttered at her small dog who was bouncing on the door. She opened the door, lightly pushing the dog back with her foot. "Hey," she said quietly to her friend, pulling her into a long hug before pulling apart. "Welcome do the Avery zoo." She lightly chuckled as her multiple animals looked at Chey with curiosity.
