The being's dark eyes are languid in their thoughtful aversion. Defined eyebrows knit closely together in the center of a pallid brow; & the clicking gears of his mind are sent to wander.

Scientifically speaking, the answer would -- arguably -- be no. Whilst the bones & pigmentation of the skin darken after blood is dispelled from the cadaver, the organs digest themselves through the enzymes of decomposition. ——————But philosophically? A shade clouds over his mind, & darkness looms ominously over his entirety; beckoning seductively to him before swallowing him up within its ebony cloak. Though suddenly there is a light there. The feeling of a pale hand caressing his hollowed cheek. The familiar scent of femininity that brings his consolation to him from a trail of light cast upon the earth by the moon.
EVE .
A sigh. His thoughts are shattered, and he is again present in the room, accompanied by this other; though still his gaze remains earthward. A hand travels towards his visage, and his elongated index finger has begun to trace slowly upon his bottom lip as he responds.
