Yes! The Celestial is wearing a binder! I'd spoken with @iingezo (the immensely talented and wonderful artist who did the piece) about em binding and suggested that the Celestial would ideally have eir binder visible and work it into the aesthetic/design of the overall look 😊

🍐 What is your OC’s mentality? Are they overall positive? Negative? A bit of both? Describe their thought patterns and reasoning behind their choice making!

Ogh... this might change as I get to know them better, but I think Birdsong leans closer to a negative mentality.

They tend to be a little fatalistic. Despite being a powerful mage-knight, they've never felt a strong sense of agency, or felt powerful enough to change what they perceive as their fate. Birdsong thinks they're never going to find peace, never Not going to be on the run from people they once called friends, and they suppose they'll just have to deal with that.

🌸 What does your OC’s voice sound like? Their laugh? Are they good at singing? Do they have an accent?

I'll definitely have to mull over this one for longer, but on first impression I imagine that they have a fairly melodic, sort of breathy voice. A little sweet, a little mournful. They try to keep their laughter restrained, so that ends up being a bit breathy, too. 

They are definitely good at singing, even without the Lunar Bird's aspect of song. Their divine blessing just makes their voice all the more entrancing. It was always a rare treat for the Selene to hear them singing in the morning, or when they could coax them to sing after a meal at night. Nowadays, they barely sing at all. Only when they think no one is listening, and only when they're sure the Lunar Bird can't hear.

I haven't thought a lot about language in the Meteor setting yet, but their accent would likely be tied to their kingdom of origin and the language or dialect most commonly spoken there.

8. What is your favourite piece that you have done?

hmm I don’t have an all time favorite, but I really really like this fanart of a star trek fanfic I did. it’s not like technically impressive or anything, but it was just fun to make and also the fic is so good, gives me a shot of serotonin every time I look at it.

also despite hating it at the time I first posted it, I quite like this animorphs fanart now, I think it’s pretty charming!
