okay so starting off they start dating a little while after the license exam, sero and aoyama had already been dating at the time, but they quickly came to agreement that they wanted iida to join. aoyama wanted to just tell him straight out at first, but then sero was like ‘no it has to be romantic otherwise he’ll never get the message’ so they changed their plans.
they had been getting ready when iida walked in and started lecturing them for staying up so late. they tried explaining themselves but iida wasn’t having it so finally aoyama just screamed ‘WE LIKE YOUR FACE, COWARD’
iida never truly recovered after this incident. rumors say if you remind him of it he turns red and waves his hands like a helicopter.(uraraka can confirm these rumors, she almost got knocked out)
on a scale from most romantic to least, they all score pretty high up, but sero wins by a hair.
he’ll always do little things like buying things they like, setting up dates, etc.
also he knows all the things that make aoyama flip out and blush and you can bet he let iida in on all of them.
in return aoyama tries her best to make them freak out back. turns out she barely has to do anything bc she’s just so dAMN PRETTY and her boyfriends are Mega Gay.

also?? this is more an everyone headcanon then anything but I headcanon that everyone that hangs around iida for an extended period of time start to pick up on his hand thing
like not even as a stim they just find it fun(okay I lied its also a stim thing but shhh)
whenever aoyama gets embarrassed she starts waving her hands around in triangles(its adorable and kills sero every time). iida just finds all of it relatable, so he’ll usually end up joining aoyama in it, which tends to make her even more embarrassed.
