Seokjin doesn’t realize he hasn’t said anything until she mentions it. Honestly, it’s a little embarrassing but he had been just kind of... taking her in. Her voice is somehow different than he expected.
“Yeah, I attend SNU — what year are you?” He asks conversationally, offering to aid her with her luggage. He takes the biggest ones and allows her to walk in ahead of him, secretly a bit appalled by how heavy her luggage felt. He glanced down at it, wondering if perhaps she came with an entire clothing factory stuffed away in the thing.
The next time she speaks, he looks up, schooling his features, following her gaze.
“Ah, not too much anymore. School has me a bit too occupied. You’re welcome to it, of course. Just don’t break anything.” He snorts slightly, appearing a bit laid back. “Your room is this way.” He gestures with a sharp jerk of his chin.
"Auntie told me you're also in your fourth year... but I transferred so I have to make up some credits." I said. The stern note which he ended his comment on the Switch felt like a rebuke, so I didn't pursue the matter anymore--I brought my own console anyway.
Heading into the room, I put down my bags before also setting aside the bags he carried. "Thank you for your help." I zipped open the biggest bag and took out a box of plum wine, handing it to Seokjin. "This is for your parents. I know I should visit them, but since you see them regularly…"
I hesitantly touched another package in the suitcase, a box of muscat grapes that Mama had instructed me to share with Seokjin. He had been polite, but quite cold, and I didn't want to appear overly; I knew Mama would be displeased if I missed any courtesies as a guest though. "I'm not sure if you like grapes, but Mama sent some for us to share. Should I put them in the ref..?"
