Tell Me with Your Lips ~ Where Do You Wish To Be Kissed? (Yukimura)

Ikemen Sengoku Taiwan collection event story (27/2 - 10/3), script provided by best royalty @chaotic-prince. 

Yukimura specific short story will be under the cut. It’s mega fluffy and its my favourite collection story of Yuki’s so far, I hope they bring it over to the English version :(

Main Cast Prologue: Sasuke gathers all the warlords and Kennyo to Azuchi castle for a discussion and decides to give out some snacks. Shingen thinks they are sweets and gets excited, Yukimura tells him he can’t have any, but Sasuke reassures the latter by saying that they aren’t sweets. He brings out lemons slices instead, which the warlords have never seen before. They reach out to take one each and eat some; Hideyoshi thinks it might be poisonous so he shouts for Nobunaga to spit it out, Nobunaga just wants his konpeito, Yukimura thinks they are unripe fruit. Sasuke says that they were meant to be sour in the first place but forgot to mention that they were going to eat it with sugar. Mitsuhide says that the flavour is ‘exciting’. Sasuke reveals that there’s a phrase from his world that says that first kisses taste like lemons. The warlords don’t understand how this comparison works, Shingen says kisses are sweet, Yukimura says that something must be wrong with her if her lips taste sour. Shingen then says that its boring for a bunch of men to talk about kissing, and asks to leave. 

Sasuke says that he and MC actually met up and talked about the meaning of kisses, because in the modern world if you kiss in certain places they convey a certain meaning- so MC was wondering if there were such things in the Sengoku era as well. Kissing the forehead means ‘friendship’, the cheek means ‘kindness’, the hand means ‘respect’ and the lips mean ‘love’. 

Sasuke goes and brings cherries, which are sweeter, and says that there’s a skill that only some people can do- tie a cherry stem into a knot using their tongue. Mitsunari tries it and ends up swallowing it instead, Yukimura, seeing a challenge, tries it and although he has some trouble at first, manages to do it. Sasuke then says that people who can do it are apparently very good at kissing. Yukimura goes all red and starts spluttering and BSoDs. The event ends with Masamune who disappeared earlier reappearing with grilled fish that he seasoned with the lemons, which the warlords find delicious.

Yukimura’s Story

It’s a warm winter day and MC makes her way towards the inn Yukimura is staying in because she wants to see him soon. She knocks on the door and asks if he’s in, and he answers that he is after some quiet and welcomes her in, but she notices that his tone is unenthused, making MC think he’s not happy about something. He says he’s going to make her tea, but she offers to make it instead, he declines and says he just wants her to make herself comfortable. 

As he’s making tea the atmosphere is weird, she can tell he’s not angry but he’s definitely unhappy about something. She wonders if she’s done something wrong, so she asks him what’s wrong. Yukimura says that there’s nothing wrong, and MC finds herself in a predicament because she can see that he’s lying. 

Yukimura: Let’s talk about something else. I heard you and Sasuke talked about something weird again.

MC: Something weird? Like what?

I thought about it, but I couldn’t think of anything.

Yukimura: Don’t play dumb, you know... something about kisses, or something... like that.

MC: Oh, you mean the proverbs about kisses?

Yukimura: .... Yeah, that. 

MC: He told me that the places you kiss have different meanings. I actually didn’t know anything about this, it was really interesting. For Sasuke to even know these kind of things, he’s really knowledgable.

Yukimura: ...

(Hm?)

Yukimura’s brows scrunched up even more.

Yukimura: You know, you shouldn’t talk about those things outside, it’s embarrassing.

MC: What’s embarassing about it? ... We were just chatting.

Yukimura: Is that so?

The more they talk the more MC notices that his mood is getting worse, and he suddenly turns away from her. She becomes annoyed at his behaviour and just stares at him. She asks him one more time what happened, but he continues to say nothing, to which MC raises her voice and says that he’s lying because there’s clearly something up. He turns around at this.

Yukimura: I didn’t lie, it’s just... I feel weird knowing that you talked to another guy about kisses.

As Yukimura spoke, his face was entirely pink.

(Eh... so what he’s saying is...?)

MC: Don’t tell me, Yukimura... are you jealous?

Yukimura’s face turned even redder.

Yukimura: ... Yeah, am I not allowed to be?

MC thinks that he looks cute because usually they’re always butting heads, and tells him that its not like he isn’t allowed to be, in fact- she was happy that Yukimura could feel jealous about something because of her. Yukimura says that he trusts MC and doesn’t doubt the relationship between her and Sasuke, because he is his friend. However, he feels restless in his chest when he sees or hears the two of them talking, even if he’s already heard about what they’ve been talking about before. Hearing him describe his own feelings, MC can’t help but smile, and he asks why she’s smiling.

MC: Because Yukimura can get jealous, I’m happy.

Yukimura: Well, I’m not happy at all.

MC: Yeah, I’m sorry, Yukimura.

Yukimura: No, even if you say sorry I won’t forgive you.

Suddenly, he reached out and pulled me towards him. I found myself very close to his handsome face, noses almost touching, and my heartbeat suddenly sped up.

Yukimura: I’ll make you understand my feelings. 

MC: Oh...

Yukimura: Be good and don’t move. So kisses have more than one meaning, right?

His lips brushed against my forehead, the faint warmth made my heart leap.

Yukimura: Tell me, what does it mean if I kiss you here?

MC: It should be... friendship, right?

Yukimura: Correct.

When he heard my answer, he smiled faintly. 

(So does this mean he doesn’t love me?)

The sweet feeling faded, replaced with anxiousness 

Yukimura: Why do you look like you’re about to cry, dummy?

(Ah...)

Yukimura: Don’t misunderstand, I’m going to kiss all the places next. ...All of my feelings belong only to you.

He gripped my wrist tightly, placing a soft kiss on my cheek.

Yukimura: ...What about here?

MC: Kindness?

Yukimura: Mhm... then, what about here?

He raised my hand up to his lips, planting a kiss as I let out a small sound.

MC: ... That’s... respect.

Yukimura: That’s right, then... here.

Watching his smiling lips before me, this time they closed over my own. Representing ‘love’, I quickly found myself drowning in it. Our hot tongues intertwining, my breathing hitched. Just when it was getting hard to breathe, our lips parted. 

(How am I supposed to respond to a kiss like that?)

I slowly opened my eyes, looking straight into Yukimura’s burning eyes, finding myself entangled by the passion in them. 

Yukimura: I’ll kiss you all over, so that way, you know how much I love you. Prepare yourself, I’m going to give you my everything.

Announcing those sweet words, he once again kissed me. 

Showering me with endless love and kisses, like rain that never stops - I could only indulge in it all...

It's a Sasuke spoiler, of a sort, I think

Now, when I said spoiler, it's not a route spoiler, more of a personality spoiler, so for Sasuke writers out there, this is verified and confirmed out of the MC's mouth...

(Means he's a natural tease; direct translation says that Sasuke is definitely a natural little devil)

But why? Simple, because, like MitsuBun aka Mitsunari Ishida, he's a clueless boy when it comes to his feelings (there's a backstory about his childhood) And he DOES NOT lie. In fact, he never lied to anyone, just omissions of truth.

So he continues to tell MC the truth of his feelings and got the poor girl very flustered. Oh and he does get jealous, how? You'll find out when you read it 😜
