yes i don't like when people decide "oh so and so is so n so's parent"

but its very different when its agereg and ikeda is desperately looking for motherly comfort from tei

which is what he's getting

clinging onto him, holding his hand, following him like a toddler following their mom, burying his face in teis clothes, hiding in his side

ikeda wants that motherly comfort from tei, and he's getting exactly that

ikeda crying and begging for food because he's hungry but he can't have any because his father didn't give him permission

and tei ignoring that because ikeda is hungry, he's hungry and begging for food, tei is going to feed him

which does not help ikeda imprinting on him more basically, ikeda is seeing someone he's clinging to and wanting disobey and ignore his fathers rule, someone who scares him, typically mothers / mother figures do that, which might cause ikeda to view tei as his mother / mother figure more and more

Ikeda who has been so disturbingly sheltered from any outside influence his whole life, who is trying so hard to pretend he knows how to be a person like the rest of them… thinking about them idk
