street food adventures//lizzy&joonyoung
lizzy was always one of joonyoung’s favorites to not only work with, but also be around during his free time. he couldn’t list the exact reasons for why, she just was. there was something about the younger girl when she joined millionaire, that made the boy want to take her under his wing and be the protective older brother he never got to be just for once. perhaps her youth, or her naivety, or the lack of korean she knew when she first came to his motherland.
from the start, he had offered her help with learning the language (his teaching skills weren’t the best. he did manage to get a few words across, though mostly slang and satoori). the tutoring sessions always seemed to go by quickly with the company of her as well as the delicious foods she’d bring with her.
the photoshoots they had done together didn’t feel like work to joonyoung. with lizzy by his side, they always felt more lighthearted. they had just finished up with one for some high end magazine and joonyoung had nothing better to do after it was over. the night was growing old and he didn’t even realize how late the photoshoot had stretched to until he checked the time on his phone. still, despite the hour, the boy did have some desire for going out and exploring.
dark brown hues flicker off of his phone and looks back up to the girl who seems to be getting her bag ready for leaving. an idea sparks in his head. he immediately starts to rush towards the younger before she can get anywhere. “hey, xiaomei-yah,” his smile is thin, voice practically singing her name, “how do you feel about going an adventure right now? you did work hard afterall.”
