He doubted that he had meant it to go this way, not when this had all started. But things like this, changed people. Everyone was changing, the longer the fog stuck around, the longer people seemed to change. Out of fear of the unknown, some became better people, most did not. Not that he gave a damn about any of that anymore. He didn’t care. They were all gonna die, and that was going to be fucking hilarious.
Class was boring, as normal, so, as normal, his eyes began to wonder, dart around the room, looking for something that was of any more interest than just the droaning lecture. Much like himself, it seemed that he wasn’t paying much attention to the lecture in question either, and, for a moment, eyes met.
Before, he would have darted his own away, wanting to avoid eye contact with someone that had done something like that, but this time, eyes stayed even, an unworded staring contest, an unsaid challenge.
Maybe Yosuke Hanamura had grown a pair and was willing to directly face what Yu Narukami had done. Or maybe it was something different all together.
He wondered, with all the high level of skill and ability he had always had, if he could sense what he was now, or if the fog just made it seem like there were Shadows around all the time.
