Dear Iliad Vlog,

Well howdy. I’m Anna and I almost auditioned for the role of Hector. I never got to submit because I ended up finishing my video after it was too late and auditions were closed.  But from what I’ve uncovered, I’m glad I didn’t.

The reason I’m messaging you like this is because I am honestly just finished with you all. For the past few weeks I’ve been investigating member relations and who the administrators are. Over this time I’ve formed a theory about your little group that just disgusts me.

My theory is: there was no point in my auditioning because the entire thing was rigged.

The mods ended up with the two most desired roles???? Even after plenty of other perfectly good actors auditioned for them??????? And two others who auditioned with pretty good auditions don’t even come close to making the cut???????????? Are you kidding me? It’s pretty clear the two mods(Achilles and Patroclus) set this up so they got the two roles that eeeeeveryone wanted, and since they were already buddy buddy with most of the other actors, they could shove them off to other roles without the people getting angry because they were all friends. And what about the other two left over? They had perfectly good auditions and I’m sure the “judges” and/or mods wanted to cut them off without any guilt so they found some kind of excuse for them to get disqualified. Which really isn’t fair. There were so many great auditions that could have gotten the two most desired roles but of course the mods got it because they had the power to make it happen. They had that control. And it’s just disgusting.

I feel so bad for the actors who are involved who were so excited to get the roles of Achilles and Patroclus, but instead of getting them fairly or getting their current parts fairly the mods just took that chance from them and its clear now they never had the chance since the beginning.

This entire thing was rigged and honestly really isn’t that high quality. I’m ashamed I ever wanted to be a part of this project and I’ve already unfollowed.  

I'm proud to be on my own to call you out because all it takes is one voice for something like this to be heard. On Tumblr, we all post about and want to fight against those who abuse their power, and two fairly popular bloggers are doing it themselves! People are influenced by the two everyday and with this theory they could be influencing them in the worst way possible. 

I'm posting this publicly like I said I would if you didn't respond a little over a week. What kind of mods can't even check the message inbox every other day or so?

You all might have gotten over the roles you never got by now, but just think.... Wouldn't it have been fun to fairly get it?? You are all amazing people and each of you deserve to have gotten the role you originally auditioned for!! I'm sorry that it didn't work out that way :(((((

*Flails* All this trying to say nice stuff about myself, I ain’t good at this XD

1. I successfully got the part of Helen in the upcoming Iliad Vlog (http://iliadvlog.tumblr.com/) Seriously you should all check it out, shameless advertising but everyone involved is amazing and brilliant and deserve your love and adoration!

2. I can write creatively at a semi-decent level? I got a 2:1 for my piece of creative writing and for the overall module I took in it, so yeah ^^’

3. Cats like me. Seriously, if I’m outside and a cat is nearby, I’m like some sort of magnet to it. It senses I am a willing slave to all of the feline species.

4. I’m good at saving up money/not spending it all easily/quickly so yeah I’m a penny-pincher or what ever you call it? XD

5. I am a Pokemon Master and no one can take that achievement away from me ;w; *Clings to pokemon games*

Not gonna tag people cause it takes effort on an ipad XD But whoever’s interested in doing it please do!!!

Casting!

We have our final casting here. Three judges, one completely unaffiliated with Iliad Vlog so we could have the best decisions, made the following choices.

We had so many great auditions that it was really hard to choose. If you were not chosen, we will contact you and we can see what other roles you can take, because you were all good and deserve to act in this for sure.

Auditions are due Monday!  You can still audition on Monday, but for this round of acceptances at least, you cannot apply later.  We look forward to seeing what you have to do!  <3

Thank you to everyone currently planning to audition or write for us! Remember, you don't have to be nervous, these don't have to be perfect auditions at all.  You can go for multiple characters, or just tell us that you're willing to take another one, if you're worried about not getting your first choice.  We want as many people to get into the project as possible! 

Also, I want to clear up that no characters are taken officially yet!  No auditions have been submitted yet, so all Iliad characters are free.
