Redesign ✶ Fair Folk ✨

Okay, this last week has been literally hellish and my brain is fried, I had almost zero ideas and even lower levels of motivation. That said, I got this no good-very bad inspo from a book I read a couple of weeks ago about Japanese folklore.
The Yōkai section about spirits and supernatural monsters/creatures got me entertained for a whole afternoon, mostly with legends about Oni (demons/ogres of different kinds).
And there were also some nice female demons like Kijo, entities with bright colored eyes, horns, claws and other nice demonic features, often mentioned in folk tales as creatures with cannibalistic tendencies and a tragic background: they used to be women, turned into monsters because of jealousy, pure hatred or wicked crimes (slayer form reference, anyone?!).
However, once turned they usually retreat from society and keep killing/doing evil deeds in remote places (mountain roads, abandoned caves and so on). They're also well versed in magic, can weave complex illusions, brew poisons and potions and are especially dedicated to personal revenge. That's why I ended up imagining an AU where my oc Suna could easily become one of them.
(Sorry if I couldn't do anything better, an infection knocked me out nearly all week and I'm still behind on a lot of things, including work, and I'm doing what I can from bed)🙏
