Nokian ad Autopromoptec ha portato alcune interessanti novità, a cominciare dal pneumatico estivo iLine, che nell’etichetta europea presenta la doppia A per la resistenza al rotolamento e la frenata sul bagnato. Si tratta di un pneumatico particolare, sviluppato specificatamente per le vetture elettriche e ibride, che necessitano di ridurre la resistenza al rotolamento.

Angelo Giandelli, agente esclusivo di Nokian per l’Italia, ha affermato: “L’iLine sta avendo un grande successo, anche grazie all’incremento delle vendite delle vetture a carburante alternativo. Un altro interessante prodotto presentato in fiera era il RockProof, un nuovo prodotto fuoristrada di nicchia. Anche in questo caso si tratta di un prodotto sviluppato per esigenze specifiche, in particolare quelle delle grandi cave americane e canadesi, dove i mezzi sono costretti a cambiare pneumatici ogni due settimane a causa dei tagli sui fianchi. Nokian, grazie alle grandi competenze in questo campo e in particolare alla tecnologia dell’aramide, ha creato un prodotto dall’incredibile resistenza, unico nel vero senso della parola: non esistono concorrenti oggi sul mercato”.

Oltre ai prodotti vettura, per la prima volta la casa finandese ha portato anche i pneumatici truck: “abbiamo portato diverse gomme winter di nuova produzione, già disponibili sul mercato. In Italia siamo ancora poco conosciuti in questo segmento, ma con questi nuovi prodotti ma tra quest’anno e il prossimo svilupperemo il mercato autocarro.”

Tra i prodotti consolidati, invece, sta avendo un buon successo il WeatherProof, l’all season: “Siamo molto soddisfatti: sul totale delle nostre vendite, l’All Season occupa oggi il 10-15% – ha detto Giandelli. Nokian in questo caso non segue esattamente il mercato, per diversi motivi. Innanzitutto, per noi è un pneumatico di servizio: è richiesto e quindi dobbiamo averlo, ma continuiamo a consigliare il doppio treno. Inoltre, anche le caratteristiche sono particolari, in quanto il Weatherproof è davvero un pneumatico winter con proprietà summer. È più sicuro, grazie alle ottime prestazioni con neve a terra e questo è dimostrato anche dalle numerose vittorie nei test. In estate, su asciutto, è più difficile distinguere il livello qualitativo dei pneumatici. Infine, siamo gli unici a produrre la gamma completa: vettura, fuoristrada e trasporto leggero e questo ci distingue.”

Anche se Nokian è sinonimo di pneumatici invernali, non bisogna dimenticare che anche la gamma summer è sempre più sviluppata: oggi, secondo Giandelli, questa è infatti paragonabile al winter, sia come ampiezza di gamma che come qualità.

Infine, una battuta sui network Nokian: “L’Italia è un mercato molto differente dal resto dell’Europa e qui da noi è molto forte il NAD, il soft franchising, che richiede meno impegno da parte del gommista. Questa catena ci sta dando grandi soddisfazioni e rimane, in ogni caso, un veicolo per arrivare a Vianor. Oggi i NAD sono 360, in leggero aumento rispetto all’anno scorso. Stiamo, infatti, puntando sulla qualità e abbiamo avviato diverse attività per seguire gli affiliati: stiamo brandizzando tutti i negozi, creando anche una struttura che permetta di seguirli da vicino. Anche le garanzie come Aramid e Satisfaction, che valgono solo se si acquistano i pneumatici attraverso un nostro network, fanno davvero la differenza, sia per i nostri affiliati sia per i consumatori.”
