Although I love the style of Uprising, I think it’s really cool that DitS (NES game) had so many different representations of Pit from different artists.

Kid Icarus really is the game where they go “we gave these two less than a minute of screentime together but it shakes the viewer’s idea of the character fundamentally if one thinks about it for too long. luckily we didn’t do that.” and then the fandom won’t either because it’s literally less than a minute. 2-3 dialogue lines.
maybe my most aggressive Kid Icarus headcanon is that Zeus IS NOT in it. guy who does not exist. hades and poseidon and uranos. is uranos still their dad? idk. but there is no Zeus in Ba Sing Se

Kid Icarus is the game where your weirdest AUs actually make sense because it’s the type of contrived bullshit they pull in canon. Yeahh maybe the only way for Pit to defeat whoever it is next IS for him to join a band. Or maybe Palutena is fucking with him when she tells him he needs to join a pirate crew to stop the bad guys because she’s been dying to roleplay. It makes as much sense as a kappa organizing paperwork or a tree practicing ballet.
image that drives me insane. why does pit hit the “wait!” like in fucking My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as if he thinks Dark Pit is redeemable at this point in the story. literally not even a minute ago you were talking about he was like… a creature borne from the maw of deceit with a twisted, tainted heart and how he can never feel compassion or love. you literally said in response to him saying “I can go wherever I want :)” “I’m going to fucking kill you with my bare hands” (“these wings take me wherever I want to go” “not if I take you down first!”). PIT WHAT ARE WE DOING RN. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS SCENE.
