PezCycling News· • In a 1930’s edition of the Giro di Lombardia, before derailleurs were invented, riders had to stop and flip the rear wheel to engage a climbing gear. The great Alfredo Binda is in the center here, he won Lombardia 4 times: 1925, 1926, 1927, and 1931, and was the first to win the Giro d’Italia 5 times.

Il Lombardia Race Pass

Il Lombardia is the final Monument of the season. Held on the beautiful roads around Lombardy in Italy, the event is known as the 'Classica delle foglie morte', or 'Race of the falling leaves' due to its Autumn positioning in the calendar. It's a race for the climbers, with multiple long climbs such as the Madonna del Ghisallo to contend with.

Our Race Pass Prints are our take on what a ticket to watch the Monuments could look like. Of course, you don't need a ticket to stand by the roadside, but we have always felt it would be nice to have a memento of watching our heroes attack the biggest one day races in cycling; the Monuments.
