It's May 1st. Today was supposed to be a very special day, but alas that is not to be. This is the first time during all of this that I have felt the touch of "what should have been". It's not that I didn't understand or empathize before now with everyone that had to miss something important to them because we NEEDED to put our lives on hold. I totally did. This is just the first real sense of sad I've felt. I can't say I didn't know it was coming. I absolutely did. But I don't really think you can prepare yourself for that sense of loss no matter how big or small. So, today will be a sad, keep yourself occupied with crafts and work, write your feelings, and also a mind your mouth because your filter isn't properly set, kind of day. These times have despite it all, lead to some amazing times filled with magic, love and laughter & I could not be more grateful for the family and friends that exists in this world with me. Don't worry, if you're the worrying type. I know exactly how to find my happy, precisely how to find joy in the tiniest things. My world is filled with all the love I want and need. I'm going to listen to my friend's music and relax knowing that oneday we'll stand in the same place, say hello and share a big hug and a shitton of laughter. See you Sunday @ Quarantine O'Mally's James! Until then... #gratitude #lovelifeandfriendship #illgetby #illthrive #thelittlethings #thebrighterside #hope #coronatime #quarantineomalleys Oh and food. There would have been food! There still is food. 🤗 https://www.instagram.com/p/B_pgTo-nPoX/?igshid=1qocfmu40rd6i
