It’s in his nature to be compassionate, but Leorio is also prone to bouts of aggravation, as most anyone can attest. So when he obediently withdraws his hand from Kurapika’s shoulder, he can’t quite resist the inquisitive quirk of an eyebrow -- or the impulse to pinch Kurapika’s cheek as he bends down, head tilted, to interrogate.

“Thought I told you not to hide injuries anymore,” he says, frowning. “Am I gonna have to rush you to the hospital, or is this something an ice pack and ibuprofen can fix? Don’t bother lying to me; I’m not letting this go.”

But I really wanted to know where people get the idea that Set, learned about his ties to the royal family before MW’s events (when Aknadin is the one who breaks the news, to everyone.). But I’m strongly against the idea of him knowing this detail about him, prematurely.

I feel like it takes away a lot of the significance that the whole event carries to him. Not only that, I feel like it would have affected a lot the outcome of the MW arc. I get that Aknadin making the big reveal, feels like a big knock off that Luke vs Darth Vader scene from SW. But IMO I wouldn’t change a thing about that.

After their parents deaths, Seto becomes his primary caregiver. It was up to him, to do the duty of raising his brother. With that in mind, it’s only logical that he knows very well how to talk/interact/handle/care for children of almost all ages, thanks to his brother.

         “Oh,” Cloud looked up when food was dropped in front of him. He had been looking at maps and had no idea how long he had been sitting there. 

          “Thanks, Tifa. Um... is it late?” He got the vibe he might have worked through dinner and possibly through bed time again. He looked sheepish. He hadn’t actually meant to keep Tifa up. He just got absorbed in his work sometimes.

      It would be wrong of anyone to assume, that in a time of war, that Gladio would not seek to snatch a few moments alone with Prompto. Whether it be by a camp fire watching the embers die and taking a few moments of solitube within one anothers grasp, or a few quiet but knowing looks in the midst of battle; Gladio was one quietly smitten bodyguard. In truth, something as personal as feelings could rarely get in the way of the work and honour he held dear to his heart, but sometimes, like now, there were moments of weakness.

      Moments where his body sang either from the after heat of battle or the ache of pushing beyond his limits during a work out, when his mind drifts to one soft blond in particular. Moments where all he could think about was spending some time with the other before the crushing pressure of something more serious swpet their attentions away for another few weeks. There was always something, and while Gladio didn’t particularly mind considering there was enjoyment to be had in swinging a sword around, it was nice to... stop.

            “Prompto?” slips from him, soft and perhaps too quiet to actually rouse the other. Tired from a late night run that lasted the better part of an hour, Gladio pads carefully across a mishappen pile of clothes, discarded shoes and a gun, to reach the side of where Prompto was fast asleep. His hair was mussed all over, sticking up at all ends and his face slightly askew with the relaxation of sleep. 

      Gladio took a few moments to observe the other spread out and dead to the world - before he unceremoniously drops himself down onto the smaller with a soft grunt.

     Being back in Altissia made him tense. Accordo itself housed his parents and, knowing his mother was closely working with Claustra, there was a greater risk of seeing them again. He had no wish to meet again.

In light of that, he found himself almost glad to be tied to the Oracle’s side. At least he didn’t have to worry about seeing many people while keeping her fiance away. Of course... “Your intended has been spotted near Cape Caem. It’s only a matter of time before he arrives in the city, if he can get past the docks.” 

He turned his head toward her and walked around the couch with loud footfalls. “You’ve hardly spoken of him. I’ve been wondering... How does your brother feel about this? Knowing that his sister is so close to being wed, it’s almost sickening the thought of being tied to such trash. You could do better or nothing at all, but have you considered this: your savior may not survive coming to Altissia.”

scouting out the route for reactor 5 was indeed a bit problematic. it lead right through 2 unused shinra facilities. one of them appeared to be some sort of laboratory, weird machines and even weirder creatures caught inside of them in... what was probably mako. creepy enough, he supposed as he walked silently through the rooms. biggs had learned to be so quiet nobody would notice him. it had gone wrong often enough and once could learn by making mistakes. his eyes were accustomed to the darkness, wondering if he was still on the right track, but he ought to be using the gps, his phone and a very old map shinra had handed out to their former workers, the dead corpses in the lower part of the facility. he wondered, when did they even start building this?

he grew even more unsure when he was suddenly entering a parking lot - an empty one with the lights still on. well, what they don’t use all that mako for, how absolutely unnecessary. he checked his gps once again but the transmitter didn’t seem to be working. maybe he was too deep underground. so he used the map instead and made his way over to the next door until he suddenly heard steps. quickly did he hide behind the pillar, keeping a look out, but... just a guy in a black suit with striking red hair. a special division of shinra...

good riddance, he made his way over to the door, but couldn’t open it. the handle didn’t work. to his utter dismay however did a cat suddenly start meowing behind him, probably gotten lost and stuck down here. biggs made a jump for it, holding the poor thing close to his chest. well, maybe he could pretend to be a very sad owner searching for their cute cat...

tidus saw it, he was reminded of rikku, imagined her reaction upon receiving it and thus bought the biggest teddy he could find and he was right. this was just rikku's kind of thing. the blond however didn't expect anything in return, eyes widening when he took a look at the coin. the imprint reminded him of what had been, of his home, especially with the blitzball stadium (albeit hard to recognise due to the scratches) on the back. to think that these things still existed... tidus smile softly, wrapping one arm around rikku to pull her into a hug. " thank you, rikku, a lot! "
