oh no carrot's gotten themself completely fixated on DD2 again what a shocker lol
I don't know if it's because I started a completely fresh playthrough (i.e., not NG+) or if it's because the new mods are very fun and make me want to explore everything or if it's because it's been so long since I played it (well, is six months long?) or if it's just because I love this game so so much (ok it's probably all of the above) but it took a grand total of 2 nights for it to fill my brain and rocket me back to previous obsession levels and now it's all I can think about again
which is a very good thing because it's probably the only thing that could possibly distract me from everything and help me find some joy in my heart right now
the new mods unlocked all the NPC outfits for your chars and scattered them to merchants around the world and I'm already sobbing at the cute clothes I put Iggy in (I'm still saving up RC to get his glasses again so he's still glasses-less tho lol). haven't found something new yet for Genzou but even the normal plate armor looks so cute on him anyway...
the mods also changed up enemy skills, vocations, put the loot and equipment all over the world instead of in shops so you have to explore to find it, and more, and I'm having so much fun again and I love these two so much it's quite tricky doing a fresh playthrough with only your main pawn but it's very a fun challenge and gets my heart beating a lot fjdjdj
so anyway please don't hate me if I start potentially posting cute screenshots again or doing some drawings again because this is the one shining light in my life again ahhhhh I love them so so so much
