I always imagined that Dark Choco Cookie was born after the war- probably after Lily, Cheese (and later Hollyberry ig) went āmissingā, and Vanilla was presumably dead. What ifā¦.the ancients besides Hollyberry (who I think is the only one that canonically acknowledges that Cacao has a kid?) have no idea that their friend has a son. Like. I guess Pure Vanilla Cookie met him but Iād say the chances for him connecting the dots is a little scarce.
ALSO Hollyberry Cookie passed down the throne so I assume all the ancients know about that- meanwhile Choco got banished and has been a sensitive topic for a whiiiile.
Dark Cacao Cookie pulls up to the friend hangout (council) and says something along the lines of āMy dear friendsā¦.I must confess, the loss of my son to the darkness is a deep scar of mine.ā Meanwhile Cheese is like ā your WHATā.
FINALLY deciding to start posting on this app after like a year. Heres some Dark Choco Cookie art because I love him so much he needs to die in the most brutal ways possible sorry not sorry š«¶āļøš¼
Based on a tumblr post I couldnāt find (so I recreated it) that goes something along the lines of āWhen a man is genuinely at his lowest point in life but has never looked betterā.
I have been thinking on how Dark Choco Cookie's backstory should be handled in kingdom - Like, I really, really DREAM of a game uptade where Dark Choco Cookie gets his own special episode where it shows his backstory, in the same way Black Pearl got hers and there was this whole ahh event.

Like, Dark Choco is a very well loved character by tue fandom and is related to Dark Cacao who is one of the game's main characters. I don't think Devsisters had forgotten about Choco like some fans believe; But rather, they might he preparing something big for him that needs a very major focus - Something that couldn't be done in the end of act 1.
Personally, I am happy he didn't reunite with Dark Cacao just yet. There were too many things happening at the end of Act 1 and it would feel too rushed.
My theory is that Dark Choco will come back, help in the Dragon Chronicles and then have his reunion arc with Dark Cacao. Kinda similar to how it's going in Ovenbreak but with proper build-up.
However, I really want something MORE than just Choco reuniting with his dad. I wanna see the details of his past, how his relationship with his father really was and with other cookies too.
There is SO MUCH POTENTIAL in a uptade like that and I had a few ideas of how I believe it would be:
Ā° Game-wise ā
ā¢ Dark Choco's backstory on a special episode
ā¢ "Young Prince" epic costume release
ā¢ A Legendary Costume release for Choco (Either the Sovereign of Darkness or something new)
ā¢ 2 new epic cookies: Chocolate Bark Cookie and the Second Watcher (If CBC doesn't release in the Dragon's story first)
ā¢ A third cookie with other rarity (Special, Guest, or Super-Epic) ā A brand new character never seen before. Potentially a mother figure for Choco or the story's main villain like Abalone in Black Pearl's episode.
ā¢ Epic costumes for Crunchy Chip, Affogatto and possibly for the new cookies too.
ā¢ New Mini-game though idk what would be.
ā¢ New kingdom decors related to the Dark Cacao Kingdom
Ā° Lore-wise ā
ā¢ Contains brief origins for Caramel Arrow, Crunchy Chip, Affogatto Cookie and Chocolate Bark and what was their relationship with Dark Choco and what they were doing in the past aswell.
ā¢ Info on what happened to the Licorice Tribe and the Coffee Tribe.
ā¢ A deeper look on Dark Cacao's grief, paranoia, and for how long did maintained contact with Hollyberry (As they were the only two ancients still 'alive' GCC, PVC and WLC were missing at this time.)
ā¢ A chance to see Affogatto's slow rising to the top as he got closer to DCC and slowly started to manipulate how thinhs worked in the kingdom.
ā¢ Dark Choco's quest for the legendary sword and how the heck he obeyed Dark Enchantress's orders when she was still stuck in the other realm with PVC. Also more detail on how the cursed sword actually works.
ā¢ The story would start with his birth up until he joined the cookies of darkness, showing how he slowly degraded from a hopeful boy to a bitter, sorrowful man.
ā¢ Explain how miserable his life was in the Dark Cacao Kingdom because he mentioned he "Knew no love or sweetness" in Crispia episode 9 Yet Caramel Arrow and the servants were RIGHT THERE??? And he showed some signs of being somewhat happy before, so it would be interesting to see what went so wrong in his life. If the pressure of being a prince and the harshness of his father had made his life so difficult he rarely had moments of respite.
ā¢ Show how he met Pitaya Dragon, Purple Yam and Milk Cookie in the different moments of his life, cause it was mentioned he did figut Pitaya once but it's a barely noticeable fact.

Devsis making an uptade like this just for my fav epic would BE A DREAM COME TRUE though I hardly hope they will ever make something like this š„¹ I'd rather not have my hopes up, but I can still dream, right? I think the Hollyberry Kingdom storyline is a little underrated tbh. Sure, itās a bit more lighthearted then whatever the hell Cacao or Cheese have going on in their episodes but I really like the sillyness of those episodes!! Choco Werehound Brute, Licorice and Bat-Cat have such a funny dynamic, I LOVE SEEING LICORICE HYPING UP THEIR PRINCESS!!! Princess Cookie, Knight Cookie and the gang are funny too; I feel like most of the hate for Gingerbrave Cookie etc (people wanted that 12 year old DEAD) was there because people were tired of getting them in their pulls. I love how even though Princess Cookie is pissed about the whole competition- she still plays in it fairly and is nice to the other candidates. Hollyberry Cookie says something along the lines of āyoung people these daysā¦ā¦ā. I love when we get casually reminded that all of the ancients are likeā¦.hundreds or even thousands of years old and should be in wheelchairs. Also watching the episodes again I was kinda suprised to see how the hollyberians are characterized to be a little aggressive? I know theyāre supposed to be like skilled fighters, passionate and all but thereās literally a scene where thereās a drunkard fighting with another cookie, making a huge spiel and Hollyberry just passes them and goes āahh, home sweet home:Dā! LIKE??? I got taken aback by that lmfaooo. I guess you could take some Burning Spice Cookie/ Hollyberry Cookie parallels out of that?
Anyways the Hollyberry Kingdom and the queen herself are underrated in my opinion!! Love them so much!!!!!
