i love it when flat-affect mysterious-creepy pilot!simon resurfaces ever so occassionally. what's that one nathan fillion quote that's like "simon seems evil but once you get to know him you realize that's just his face" jsjsjsjs like. king of looking like he's up to no good.

he also says "i'll take care of it" not him, which is way more ominous imo.

and like don't get me wrong, he Is upset and is thinking about how to confront jayne, but i love how they try to trick the audience again lmao. they're like "hey remember when simon was super weird and you thought he was evil in the pilot? i wonder if he's gonna do something here..."
