I love stumbling upon a character or ship from a fandom I am not a part of whatsoever, and somehow still becoming invested and falling down the rabbit hole. I'm not really interested in the show or whatever, but that specific character? Absolutely

One of my favourite comic book conventions is where the gag is wound up and teased until the last panel of the page and then you, the reader, turn the page with giddy anticipation at the inevitable execution. It gets me every time. It's such a perfect little storytelling mechanic that is so particular to the format. It's the comic version of "what could possibly go wrong" before the hard cut to ambulance sirens and flashing lights. J'adore.

The weird feeling you get when you notice that Beloved Mutual suddenly or randomly reblogs from Other Beloved Mutual. Not in a "Oh, new Mutal Circle!" kinda way but in a "Wait when did that happen?" kinda way, lol.
