Every 2 to 4 business weeks I remember I have a twin brother I can call and annoy
got in a fight with my mom and wrote this type shit
I was shackled beneath the weight of mountains—ancient, merciless things that ground themselves into my spine like centuries of shame I could never name. They didn’t fall. They settled. One by one. Until I no longer stood, but knelt—bones sinking into the earth like broken promises. Inside me, herds of bison stampeded, not with urgency but with ritual. Their hooves pounded out dirges through my ribs, each beat splintering cartilage like frostbitten glass. My chest was a hollow field echoing with war drums no one would answer.
My feet, blistered from flight, were claimed by the roots of trees I once turned my back on. They remembered. Their roots didn’t reach for comfort—they gripped like fingers around a throat, pulling me downward into soil damp with memory. I could feel it seep into me, thick and ancestral. The grass whispered lies with every kiss, then drew blood with every touch—fine slashes across my soles that bled like penance, red ribbons unraveling into the dirt. The ground drank like it was parched. The host took and took and bloomed.
I clawed at the earth—helpless, rabid, wild with grief. My nails broke and bled. Something unseen dragged me downward, and I saw it then—light, not holy, but surgical. Cold and precise, blooming in my iris like a cauterized wound. I tried to scream, but only petals came—wilted, soft, humiliating. The thorns followed, crawling up my throat, carving me hollow. Blood streamed from my mouth like syrup, slow and sticky, staining my chin as my breath rattled through a ruined windpipe.
My sternum was a split altar, desecrated and open to the sky. And from the soil, glass began to rise—not mirror, not mercy, but jagged, radiant knives of sun-hardened silence. They cracked through the air, each one singing a note of pain, each one twisting toward me like they knew my name.
I watched, trembling, as the blades curled around my limbs, laced across my stomach, coiled around my neck. They pulsed with something like breath. Like want. They didn’t cut. Not yet. They seeped. They sank into my pores like needles of light, threading veins through my flesh until my blood was no longer mine. Dew pooled in my lungs. Chlorophyll surged through capillaries. The grass thickened, brightened. I felt my arteries braid themselves into her womb. She welcomed me like hunger welcomes the weak.
I was never saved. I was devoured slowly—until I couldn’t tell where my pain ended and her bloom began. I became soil. I became root.
So you’ve been adopted by Mel too huh😂

I found my birth family.....
I hate finding out people are related to Aaron Burr because I'm related to Aaron Burr and really there's only so many people that i can put up being blood related to
Is it still illegal to cross out your non existent bio dad's name on your birth certificate and replace it with the two guys you've looked up to all your life instead?
Cos I did that. I'm not crazy, right?
R-right?!
Yesterday marks one month since I got to meet my birth mother, I got to say hello but also goodbye. I finally feel complete. She’s buried in another state and I wasn’t able to visit her grave until this year.
I was born to a brain dead mother, she was four months pregnant with me when she suffered a brain hemorrhage. I was delivered at seven months when her organs started to fail after being on life support for so long.
My birthday this year stung for me, I’ve finally turned the age that she was when she died. 20.
