What would you do if or when you actually do meet papa after a show.

If the day actually comes… I’m not really sure! haha. I’m a very quiet and shy person, and I don’t really go out of my way to start a conversation with other people. Thoughts go right out the door and it doesn’t even matter who it is I’m meeting! I know he’s just another person that just so happens to have a pretty awesome job, but idk man. In the end I’d probably just say hi and good show? Maybe get a hug if I put my big girl panties on right? Its pretty lame and boring, but I know I’d just be another face in the crowd of fans so if I word vomit or act a fool it won’t really matter. I’ve always had questions for him, but yeah… I’m an awkward shy thing.

🌱 - How would your younger self act if your current self told them they were queer?

Interesting question.

I knew at 11, and it never really changed, so it's hard to think younger. I don't think I would be...surprised. I didn't have pretend play about being married (though I am), and I didn't really have a lot of mothering pretend play, wedding pretend play, etc. I had a lot of building and playing doctor and fantasy (fairies) type pretend play.

So, at that age, it's hard, but I wasn't devoted to any of those types of play, and I wasn't very devoted to any of those things, despite the best efforts of my father's side of the family.

I would probably be more surprised that I married a man, and that was...not planned. I was almost engaged to a woman about a year before (very bad situation, long story, very annoying) and I had just broken up with a man months before my now-husband came back into my life (we've been friends since we were 18), and I was kind of thinking, since I had just moved to a big queer-friendly city, that I would date some women, go out, early-twenties, all that. And then, my now-husband just...he got me swept off my feet. Swooped in, we were both surprised.

a tv show character i think, not really an important one but that’s where my mom heard the name, and she liked it

i cried today actually, i went to the theater to see “vice” and dick cheney gave his daughter liz the ok to say gay marriage is wrong even tho his daughter and liz’s sister was gay and married to a woman, so it was really stomach churning stuff

3. Do you have any kids?

no and hopefully none in the future, i’ve never wanted to be a mother so it’d be better for kids not to have me as one either

too much, i’ve become good at not even realizing i’m being sarcastic

hair! i’m always so fucking jealous of people’s hair, mine’s really awful
