Yesterday I found a skating rink that had free admission but I didn't note it's name so now I'm back to checking all the rinks in the area again

#sigh #when will i learn #i finally got new skates and i got them sharpened last week so im rearing to go #i miss skating so much #i used to be so good and now im just passable #i took lessons for 7 years and now i cant even do a lunge without falling on my ass RIP #ive been practicing static movements like spirals and lunges in my apartment and have realised just how in shape i was as a child #like jesus i must have had such strong core and leg muscles??#bc now im Suffering after holding a lunge for like 20 seconds 😭#im determined though #i want to be able to do a lunge and spiral without falling #and backwards crossovers both ways #then i will be satisfied #maybe a single loop if i feel ambitious #personal #also imo its assisnine that theres only public skating from nov to march #it makes me so mad why would i want to skate only when its freezing outside!!#i want to skate when im melting outside!
