i am so avoidant of writing this stupid essay that i have spent all day today doing so many household chores that i have been putting off.

Can we just talk about Shrek the Third and how the gingerbread man has this entire Arc in one scene where we see his life flash before his eyes from birth till now and it includes an entire Montage from the previous film where his little legs get cut off and he goes through physical therapy and comes back stronger, complete with icing stiches, with an entire subplot on his character all in a few cuts.
