ok so guess who's been sort of brainrotting an idea in my head recently
analog horror oumota au
sorry i'm rusty at character design. moving on though, i don't exactly know where i'm going with this but it's been kinda stuck in my head??
kaito pretty much has the same personality, as well as similar ambitions. the only difference is that he can't ignore the constant disappearances around the city now that it's been caught to his attention
kokichi also has og's similar personality, but he's more of the sort of laid-back guy from the prologue and chapter one. he doesn't appear to have the same concerns as kaito and tags along for the fun of it
they both have a bit of rivalry tension with each other but are mostly chill at first and share the same dorm (of course). i like to think the story initially centers around their dynamic in the first half, with the general unsettling mystery being the main course. it only goes down hill in the second half where the Horrors™️ are actually emphasized. both halves shift from one perspective to another's, in a subtle way. i wish i had a more clarified outline but this'll do
unfortunately, there won't be a happy ending for either of them in this au
