Carla's power is inspired by the character Theta Knight's power in the book series Diviners by Libba Bray (great series if you like supernatural and 1920s), Theta's power was that when she felt stress, anger or fear, her hands would heat up until they would scorch and burn anything she touched. I thought this would be interesting for Carla because of her fire theme and her lack of emotional control, and how she would need to work on that if this power randomly manifested at some point. Sorry for the ramble lol it's just an idea I've been toying with and how Carla would navigate if this power somehow manifested and where she'd get it from!♡
