For context, in my school everyone in my grade is reading this book called "Siddartha" which is about Buddhism, and this guy was saying he doesn't like that book because he's a Christian and doesn't believe in that stuff

Which, ok, fine, you don't believe in Buddhism? You don't have to, but you shouldn't dislike a book just because of that

Anyways, I told him that I don't mind learning about other religion's, and then I mentioned I'm an atheist

Then this mother fucker said that I shouldn't talk about the fact that im an atheist because it's a public school and there's a lot of religious people that will get offended, including him
