It has literally only been a few months since everything in Khura’in settled down -- if you consider “settled down” to be something akin to “run trials and try to get the legal system back into a presentable form every day.” But Nahyuta’s glad to do that: for how long now has it been his dream? Dhurke’s dream?

But now, he finds, that’s quite impossible, as he’s no longer in Khura’in at all. The buildings are even more foreign than America, or any other place he has traveled as a prosecutor: there is an unrest in the ground, but at the same time he cannot feel any of the ley energy that came off of the mountains back home.
