#evren vents #ah yes another tag rant #fuck.#im so............#hyperfixations are really not good for me #i missed todays stream #and when i woke up today as soon as id realised id missed it a wave of blind panic just swept over me #the fear and upset i feel at missing things is...... immense #this has always been a thing since even before my hyperfixation was livestream-based #missing a trailer drop i was waiting for would do the same thing to me #but like. man.#this really isnt good for me huh #i cant go on fixating on a real person. i cant. but i also cant control my fixations. so i dont know what to do #like im not kidding when i say theres no way for me to stop caring about things?#ive spent at least two years at this point *actively avoiding* bbc sh*rlock and the emotional reactions i get towards shit from it.........#like its definitely better than it used to be dont get me wrong #but the way it makes my brain.... i guess light up? is still the same #the only difference is that back in 2016 it was a positive lightup and now its a negative one #but yeah #all i can do with techno is either stop watching to maybe try and lessen how much i Need to absorb all the content #which i really really dont want to do because he genuinely brings me a lot of happiness #or like. idk. keep watching and hope i stop being obsessive #i fucking hate being. like this.#the worst part is i cant definitively tie it to my mental health because i dont have any official diagnoses #so its like ok maybe its adhd maybe its autism maybe its something else or maybe im just a shitty obsessive person with addictive tendencies #god...................................... im tired #i like seriously need help #but at this point................ man. idk. i barely know what im saying #all i know is i need to somehow find a way to condition my brain into only liking techno normally and not being hyperfixated #because like. people can try and justify it all they want but being hyperfixated on a real person is fucking weird and gross

these past few days have just been me needing to do my homework, stressing about doing my homework so much to the point where i avoid doing it, constantly thinking about the deadlines, stressing about not doing the work i should be doing but getting even more stressed out at the thought of doing it and failing and disappointing my professors, not showing up to z**m, stressing over emails, feeling bad about not showing up to z**m but feeling that it’s too late to go, taking 10 minutes to write, review, and edit an email that should have only taken 4 minutes max, and stressing over homework that i should be doing but not doing it because i’m stressed by the existence of the assignment itself and the power it holds over me also stressed by the possibility of disappointing my professors and not meeting the expectations i feel like they have of me that i placed upon myself
