hi so like i wanted to say that i finished reading the first book of the series after you recommended it to me, and i have to say firstly, i love what you’ve done for V’s character. since he isn’t considered to be a part of vergil here, he’s given his own agency and it leaves many blanks to be filled (where is he from? who’s his mother? how and why then, did he acquire his summons?). it also kinda satisfies something for me cos it always bothered me that V looks absolutely nothing like vergil except in the hair

i also like how since V was killed by vergil, nero is more hostile towards him especially at the beginning. i also liked the little moments like vergil asking nero about his kids and kyrie, the descriptions of the settings, the warmth of the fire vs the storm, V’s nightmare, all the added little details about him were very enjoyable to read about. i also liked magnolia and how her ancestors are from vigrid, how she can just kick ass and the inclusion of the trinity of realities. especially towards the end i was pretty hooked on the story and now i have to read the next one 😭

also, i can tell you put a lot of love and effort into writing this story and you definitely do not deserve to receive any hate about it!!

I can't even tell you how happy I was to see this message in my inbox! One, because nobody ever sends anything to my inbox on Tumblr anymore, and two because OMG THIS WAS SO NICE!

I mean, to be fair, I rather get nothing in my inbox than the things I used to get all the time. But it's just some nice to hear this on my tumblr! I don't get a lot of engagement here.

I genuinely do love writing the series! It gave me something to do during the pandemic, but I think that now it's become something more for me personally. I had taken a 10 year break from writing fanfics (and mostly from writing all together aside from the fic I started to write in HS in my notebook) so the reception that I received genuinely made me feel happy. No one had ever done that before.

The way you described the atmosphere and lore I tried to tie together in the fic made me so happy because world building is like my favorite thing ever. That's what has taken me so long to write the actual book that I want to write. I've spent so long working on maps and information about the different factions, religions, people, and locations that actually writing the book has or ery challenging.

Maybe I'll try something smaller first...

This is a cute moment between Lava Lamp and Mokona that I appreciate very greatly, because Lava Lamp deserves friends and any step that leads to him having his own unique connections with his new family is fantastic amazing content. 

But this also rings as an intentional parallel that CLAMP are using on purpose.

Mokona had a dream where she communicated with the other Mokona at the same exact moment that Lava Lamp had a dream where he communicated with Watanuki. 

This thematically implies the connection between the Mokonas is very similar to the connection between Lava Lamp and Watanuki, if not exactly the same. 

But in true CLAMP fashion the Mokona are mysterious enough that the specifics of this are still vague enough that you can’t be sure what that answer is unless you know it already. Because all the possible answers ARE still possible. 

Is it that they’re copies of the same person? Both Mokona are copies of the Original Mokona. 

Is it that they’re family? The Mokona are siblings. 

Is it that they’re alternate world versions of the same person? The Mokona have the same name but look different, so they could technically be different world versions of the same being. 

So we’re no closer to figuring out what the true answer is BUT we know that it’s THERE and that the Mokona are a clear and direct parallel on purpose.

I just thought of something... If I were to suddenly die for some reason, I have a queue of more than 700 posts on here...

And no one in my family even knows about Tumblr, much less that im in here 🤣🤣

Which means my followers will never know... One day, weeks after i was gone, my queue would stop and then the blog would just stay there... Forever... Like my very very weird fangirling and extremely horny ghost...
