i kinda only read mdzs + svsss + OCCASIONALLYYY tgcf fics so im not. Super varied. im a big big big sucker for established relationship i love it when these losers are acting MARRIED! i also like general familial tags, aka accidental baby acquisition, family feels, etc (<- most predictable dadji + dadxian enjoyer alive)

i also lurve lurve lurve casefics (LOVEEEE a good mdzs casefic i love ppl taking the mystery/detective aspect of this series even further), and ridiculous silly modern aus (they GOTTA be slightly ridiculous its a requirement) im talking shit like "wangxian work for the dmv" "liushen work for wetherspoons" type nonsense

A plot hole that makes me want to tear my hair out

Hi... the lack of a consistent timeline... actually this is a really petty moment to be annoyed about in relation to the larger "hey how the hell does this timeline work" problem but those guys who chewed out of Kurama's stomach at a point in time where he should have been sealed into Mito.... they wasted precious screentime on a fight i don't give a fuck about AND they don't make goddamned sense.

The character/story arc I find the most compelling

This is a very predictable answer but I am very fond of Kakashi's whole [thing] I think from start to finish I'm most compelled by what he has going on. Sasuke and Obito are close behind him though.
