I dunno why but Tumblr isn't loading images for me right now.
I can see text posts just fine, but my URL bar normally has a 'refresh' arrow at the right side when a website's finished loading right now I've got the 'x' which is to cancel loading the page. I don't know if I'm just having computer issues or what, but it SEEMS like everyone else's Tumblrs are working fine??
All of the images are just diagonal color gradients...

Whenever I see something along the lines of "conventionally attractive people need not reblog" - it makes my blood boil.
Am I conventionally attractive? Hell no.
But I'm not going to tear down someone's bullying experience based off how they look, either.
Conventionally attractive people get bullied.
Conventionally attractive people get manipulated.
Conventionally attractive people get used.
Conventionally attractive people get assaulted/harassed/raped/etc.
Why?
Because if they're beautiful, clearly they MUST be asking for it....which is BULLSHIT.
You aren't making a case for yourself with this "not like other girls/guys" mentality. You're perpetuating a misogynist/misandrist mindset that only "unattractive" people get bullied/mistreated/assaulted.
PEOPLE. CAN. BE. CRUEL. TO. ANYONE.
Instead of putting everyone in fuckkng boxes based of your own shallow and narrow-minded perceptions about what their lives must be like - how about showing you are better than that by listening and being empathetic?

im so angry at shows like 100% hotter because they take people who r completely confident and happy with the way they look, degrade and embarrass them and change them so drastically just to fit in with the rest of society. i cannot believe i have to explain how fucked up that is. there was a show ten years ago very similar to this where they take people who look different, humiliate them on national tv and mould them to be like everybody else and thats probably why so many people have self image issues. i remember watching that when i was eight years old! how on earth is that type of damaging tv show fit for a growing, mentally fragile child to see? now more than ever we should be teaching kids AND adults that difference is okay !! difference is beauty!

I really hate being ugly sm. I’m not cute. I’m not short. I’m not skinny. Every time I see a guy I’m attracted to, I think about how awful we would look as a couple. About how awkward we would look. Everyone would see a good-looking guy and this large awkward person next to him. My nose is too big, my eyes are too small, there’s too much skin on my face. I can’t imagine seeing pictures of us and it looking natural. A wedding where everyone thinks it’s a prank. I’d walk down the aisle, and everyone’s waiting for the real bride. It seems so hopeless. I’m not pretty like everyone else. I think they would leave. Imagine every girl in his life seeing him with this bizarre ogre-like person. Thinking well gee, even I’m prettier than her. Like a status update that proves he’s losing. I just feel so ugly, I can’t be chosen and everyone agree that we look good together. They would be pitying him
is anyone else experiencing image loading issues or images suddenly not working on blog pages? trying to see if it's just me or if it's a tumblr-wide issue.
