[Pollrunner's Note: Propaganda written entirely by myself.] We meet Mettaton in the game mid-transition (in his calculator form) and his entire boss battle is fought after he transforms into the new body his scientist friend, Alphys, made for him. His entire involvement in the game prior to this was him messing with and threatening the protagonist just to make Alphys look good, which is honestly friendship goals.

We meet the character that's likely meant to be his pre-transitioned self, Nobody, in Deltarune, who is notably more withdrawn. Much of the events tied to Chapter 2's secret boss are implied to have him as an unintentional catalyst, as Swatch describes how he'd helped "a lightner" achieve their dreams by designing a robot body that JUST HAPPENS to resemble Mettaton's. How Mettaton's story continues in Deltarune's universe will be determined by future chapters.

Those ‘special treatments’ aren’t special at all - they are called accommodations to support access needs. The fact that people like OP see needed accommodations such as skipping the majority of the line at airports as ‘special treatment’ is an insult and shows they don’t care about actually disabled people.

Having ‘dysphoria’ about not having mobility aids doesn’t mean you should just get one - and if you want one because of pain then go talk to your doctor.

Having to be quizzed by my GP, then an occupational therapist, a wheelchair occupational therapist, and an insurance occupational therapist to evaluate my needs and determine that I actually need a wheelchair isn’t ‘gate keeping’.

Any person who has an insurance covered wheelchair is in fact ‘more valid’ than you clowns because they are actually disabled and it’s been deemed that they medically need a wheelchair. Also it’s not about ‘validity’ it’s about medical necessity!!!!

when i got these lines, they had icons reflecting my choices of the intellect-related and sight-related memory respectively. I already had noticed that was happening in the monologue, but what's interesting is the way these two lines together almost sound like an exchange between two people! (Kinda giving plurality, huh? At least, that's what drew my attention to it!)
