Yeah it feels like those special characters take forever to show up a second time, and then after then you only run into them about 30-50% of the time, so it's hard to like get anywhere with their stories

3.  Favourite character from Prequels? 

i love So Many of the prequels characters but anakin’s my #1 problematic fave. like somehow, even before all the child murder, he manages to be the absolute worst and yet i just love him

4. Favourite character from original trilogy?

ooh probably leia because i love a badass woman and i love carrie fisher

5.  Favourite character from sequel trilogy?

this is so conflicting! i feel like i had a favourite when i first watched tfa but at this point i feel like i like everyone pretty evenly

6. Do you have any ships?

i try not to talk about ships much on this blog bc other star wars fans are kind of. terrifying. but i enjoy most of the canon ships. i also really love the jedi exile/atton which is one of the few ships i actually reblog a lot of. they’re just so good! i can never decide on my canon™ kotor ship from the first game but i like most of those too! so yeah there’s a few i just tend not to blog about many

9. What food from Star Wars would you want to try?

i actually can’t think of many star wars foods but the jogan berry cake padmé was making in that one clone wars episode looked amazing

14. If you could change one thing about the Star Wars universe, what would it be?

there are so many things that it practically crosses the line into discourse. i guess the first thing that comes to mind is how creepily sexualised certain species are in it. twi’leks are super cute but do they need to be treated like that all the time 😕

29. Which character doesn’t get enough credit or screentime?

so many! i would have loved to see more of aayla secura and luminara unduli in the movies - and plo koon for sure! the rogue one squad don’t get enough recognition either. i also would have loved to see them do more with the ticos and jannah in the sequels. the organas also don’t get enough credit (or owen and beru for that matter!) bc i sure as hell wouldn’t wanna take darth vader’s kids after the fall of the republic. aaaand since i’ve been unable to stop thinking about clones lately i would have loved to see the clones get some more screentime! maybe wolffe and also fox since everyone seems to really hate him

39. If you wrote a ‘fix-it fic’, what would you write about?

i wanna fix like everything 😭 i think i’d most like to write some kind of order 66 fix-it bc i just want all my prequels/clone wars faves to be happy. i really like the idea of taking fives’ last arc from tcw and making it actually... work. the clones just yeet their chips, order 66 is cancelled and everyone lives happily ever after. i’m working on something vaguely related to that currently but on a much smaller scale because i can’t focus on anything complex

Don't worry about it! I wouldn't have posted the list if I didn't want to answer some questions.

2. What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?

I most recently watched Wake Up Dead Man with my partner last weekend. It was good, and we had a fun time pointing out things we saw and trying to solve the mystery (as you do), but it wasn't at the level of Glass Onion (I would probably put it on par with Knives Out). Still, it's always a treat to hear Daniel Craig's Benoit Blanc voice and everyone in the cast is clearly having a ball playing the worst possible people. Solid 7.5/10.

3. What are you looking forward to right now?

The norm-core middle-aged mother answer is: getting my clothes dryer fixed (it's really slowing things down hang-drying everything in the winter!); the more fun answer is either going to an anime con in April with my partner or finding a TTRPG group on Meetup that will let me take a break from being a perma-GM; the honest answer is that I'm looking forward to downing an edible and playing Like a Dragon tonight.

7. What's your favorite way to travel? Is there a mode of travel you haven't done that you want to experience?

I like slow travel. That usually means a road trip because I have a terrible love for making playlists and grabbing gas station coffee/snacks; however, I really love rail travel. I wish there were more trains where I live. I like taking the Metro to work in the morning and the times I've had longer train rides have been absolutely lovely. I've even watched online review videos for trains I have never and probably never will ride. Something about the languid pace and watching the world roll by. My dream is to one day ride the Orient Express from one end to the other but that costs about 8000USD the last I checked (which doesn't even include getting to Europe in the first place!) and I doubt there will be a murder mystery for me to solve. Honestly, if there were a ride where everyone gets dressed up and has to solve a murder - like a murder mystery dinner, except it lasts for 3 days and you're on a train - I would be in heaven.

11. What kind of music is stuck in your head a lot lately?

I specifically have the theme to Yuri on Ice!! stuck in my head, thanks to my partner getting me to watch it. Before that it was the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 soundtrack (which, since I don't speak French, made for some interesting singalongs). For genres, I usually have a lot of trad goth and darkwave playing in the car but I've also been going back to the 80s hip-hop from when I was young for reasons I cannot explain or even articulate but which I will not question.

4. What piece of media inspired you the most?

All of my WIPs except for 2 have been for Stargate Atlantis; the other two are for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Everything on a Waffle. My FMA:B fic was an older WIP that I picked up again this year and then realized that I need to finish reading the manga/rewatch the anime before working on further, so I'm planning to get to that at some point next year.

10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

Fancy ramen now, with like figs in it, partly because it's the main one I've been working on and partly because I really like the ship in it, or will you send across the stars A sign?, because I've been trying a different, sparser style with this fic and it's fun to experiment.

30. What would you like to write next year?

I'd like to work on (and complete!) some of my longer fic ideas next year! I have a few plots that I've roughly sketched out which I think would be fun to work on for longer, 15-25k pieces as a way to improve my writing.

tbh it changes allll the time but currently i'm in a big sandwich mood? all i want are cucumber + tomato cream cheese sandwches, tomato + cheese + green chilli sandwiches, bombay sandwiches, etc. i want sand wich <3

silence of the lambs: what's something you're looking forward to?

i am very much looking forward to moving out again in september and getting to live with my partner again <3 i havent lived with her for like 6 months now and i miss our little routines. also this year i want to have better habits and a more balanced life so im looking forward to making time on the weekends to go to the farmers market <3

evil dead: do you have any weird/obscure interests?

oooh! not so much! my only real hobbies rn aren't really obscure! my current hobbies are i make playlists, i've gotten into building/home reno stuff a little bit because my parents want so much done around their house lol, gardening, reading internet essays lolz, and i've just gotten back into watching tv shows. but that's kind of it!

KSDF;SDJ I THINK U ACCIDENTALLY ANSWERED IT PRIVATELY!! but oh my GOD yeah i live in s. canada and there are already per capita more trucks than cars but the fact that most of those trucks have truck nuts on them? abhorrent
