What if Armand hates Gabrielle because he sees too much of Marius in her?

There's the inappropriate parent/child relationship, treating Lestat as an extension of self rather than an autonomous being, abandoning Lestat when he's in need.

But Armand hasn't yet accepted that Marius did all those things to him as well so he puts those feelings onto Gabrielle instead and claims he hates her on Lestat's behalf.

Please lord let the DM reunion in the show be instigated by Daniel calling to Armand for help because he's scared when Akasha shows up, like in the books.

Of course Armand can't read his mind anymore but he's been watching Daniel's every move since the turning (probably has him airtagged tbh), so he sees/hears Daniel asking for his protection and just can't help himself. He has to make sure his beloved boy is okay.

Daniel, meanwhile, is wondering why the hell his first instinct when in danger is to call out to the monster who tortured and murdered and turned him, not knowing he has a long history of calling to Armand for help and and being rescued every time.

S3 Devil's Minion predictions

(Warning: semi-incoherent ramblings below, just felt the need to get this out of my head and on to the page)

Daniel will have more dreams that reveal snippets of past DM. This would move the sub-plot forward without fully addressing DM yet. Lord knows they have plenty to do already, and this whole storyline will be a slow, unfolding mystery for both Daniel and casual viewers — hence the almost complete absence of Armand from the teasers.

The dream sequences will either involve Assad acting alone or Assad and Luke acting together, which would explain why we don't seem to have much of Eric and Assad together this season. Armand will be mostly missing from the current day storyline as Daniel will be trying unsuccessfully to track him down for most of it.

However, there will end up being one big confrontational scene (in the park?) near the end of the season.

There won't be romance between modern day DM yet — however, the QOTD events kicking off (presumably in S4) combined with Daniel regaining more memories will be the catalyst for a rekindled romance to begin.

Any other Armand scenes this season will either be Venice flashbacks or relating to Marius turning up in the present day.
