I’m in love.
Requested- Sean Renard x Reader.
Request: Anonymous- Hey! If it's not too much trouble, could I request a jealous/protective Renard?Maybe like the reader likes Renard but thinks he likes someone else/deserves better,so they back off and eventually try to move on with someone else (despite still loving renard) and he gets really jealous?Thank you so much ? ((sorry if that's too specific))
You flick through the files on your desk with your head resting on your hand. You sigh deeply and take a huge swig of coffee. You’re drumming your fingers on the table when your colleagues, Nick and Hank saunter in, dropping more files onto their desks.
“Tell me someone’s dead.” You beg, sitting up and staring intently at them.
They shake their heads.
“Sorry, (Y/N), your just gonna have to work your own case for now.” Hank chuckles.
“But nothing’s happening!” You whine.
“Cold case?” Nick asks.
“Insufficient evidence.” You answer, shaking your head.
You rub your temples in circles and groan.
“I’m gonna go find out what I can do.” You decide, standing and heading over to the Captain’s office.
You knock the door and when he invites you in, you get butterflies in your stomach.
“Captain? It’s me.” You say tentatively.
“Come in, (Y/N), shut the door.” He insisted.
When the door is closed, he stands up and leans on his desk, staring at you with a small smile on his face.
“Captain, my case is … well, um, nothing’s happening, I was just wondering what I could do to sort of … get the ball rolling I guess?” You explain.
He smiles at you and stands up straight.
“Go over the evidence, see if you can piece bits together. Who are your suspects?” He asks.
“Well, that’s the thing … I don’t have any. Well, except her husband but there’s not enough evidence against him … well, any.” You reply.
“Hmm … well, do you have tire treads? Shoe impressions? Fingerprints? A murder weapon?” He interrogates.
“Murder weapon was never found, but it was blunt force trauma, so there has to be one.” You tell him.
“Okay, well, investigate further, go back to the crime scene and really look. See if you can find the murder weapon. Check the victim and see if you can determine what was used to kill her-“ The phone on his desk suddenly rings.
“You’ll get it, just don’t give up.” He smiles, walking around to sit in his chair.
He answers the phone and you walk out of his office. You go to Nick’s desk and sit on the corner.
“You wanna help with my case?” You ask, beaming at him.
“What are you going to do?” He replies, grabbing his jacket.
“We’re going back to the crime scene. Hank, you coming?” You answer, heading out of the station with the guys.
You walk into the house of the victim and look around. You check every heavy looking item for blood spatter, every ornament, the tools in the shed outside and every room in the house.
“I can’t see any blood.” You sigh, coming down the stairs.
Just then, something catches your eye. You hurry faster down the stairs and notice a hole in the wall. You crouch down to investigate it and then, slowly, you turn around, straighten up and stare fixedly at the banister.
“I got a murder weapon!” You exclaim.
The guys come over to you. They move their eyes to look where you’re still staring.
“The banister?” Hank asks.
You nod.
“How are we going to take this back as evidence?” Nick inquired.
You pull out your phone and snap a picture of the blood on the banister.
Back at the station, you head straight to the Captain’s office and knock on the door. When he invites you in, you can barely contain your excitement.”
“Captain! We found out what the-“ You stop mid-sentence, noticing another person in the room.
She’s a tall woman, and she’s beautiful. Her long blonde hair falls past her shoulders and her blue eyes are bright and framed with soft makeup. Her lips are plump and full, and her clothes are all designer. Suddenly your mouth goes very dry.
“What is it, (Y/N)?” Captain Renard asks.
“Oh, uh, well, we found the murder weapon. Just thought you’d like to know.” You stammer, suddenly feeling intimidated.
“Excellent, well, just keep going with it. You’ll figure it out.” He tells you, smiling.
You nod and turn to leave. You head down to the morgue and check over the body with the Coroner, looking at the wound on the back of the victim’s head. You can now see exactly where her head had hit the banister. You head back up to your desk and pull up the victim’s husband’s profile.
You bring the husband in for interrogation. He puts on a brilliant grieving act, but within an hour, you manage to convict him of the crime and make the arrest. Whilst you’re filling out the paperwork, the Captain comes over to your desk.
“Did you figure it out?” He asks.
“Yeah. I made an arrest; it was the husband. I’m just doing the paperwork now.” You answer, not looking up.
He picks up on your tone and goes back to his office. You finish the paperwork and take it to his office. Waiting at the door, you turn and see a young man with dark hair and brown eyes. He notices you and smiles. You can’t help but smile back, and he doesn’t take his eyes off you as he walks out of the precinct.
“Come in.” Renard calls from the other side of the door.
You walk in and place the paperwork on his desk in front of him, turning to leave instantly.
“(Y/N)?” He calls after you.
You stiffen and turn back to him, a soft smile creeps onto your face.
“Captain?” You address politely.
“Well done. I knew you’d figure it out.” He says, smiling appreciatively.
You smile and nod once, turning and walking out of his office. As you’re walking out of the precinct, you feel a hand on your shoulder and turn around quickly.
“Hi.” The young man from earlier says, grinning.
“Oh. Hi. Do I know you?” You ask casually.
“You smiled at me earlier, was wondering if you’d like to grab lunch with me.” He invites.
“Sure. I’m starving.” You agree, walking out with him.
You go to a small café on a street corner and have a nice lunch and coffee. The guy tells you his name is Daniel and you tell him your name. You have a long, pleasant conversation and exchange numbers.
You both say goodbye and you head back to the station.
When you get there, Renard calls you into your office.
“Who was the guy you left with?” He asks, raising his eyebrows.
“Just some guy. His name’s Daniel.” You answer stiffly.
“Did he tell you why he was in the Precinct?” He interrogates.
“Yeah, he did, actually. As I understand he was let go due to insufficient evidence … meaning no evidence.” You reply.
“He’s not-“ He starts, but you cut him off.
“Why do you care, Captain?” You ask, a little snappier than you mean to.
“Because I need you working on top form.” He snaps back.
As he says it, his eyes dart to the right and he runs his hand across the back of his neck. He’s lying.
You open the door to walk out, but he stops you.
Quietly, he says to you, “There’s nothing happening. Go home.”
You leave without a word, grab your jacket and get into your car.
When you get home, you put on your favourite song and get into a hot bath. You try to relax but your brain won’t shut off, so you get out of the bath and get dressed, drying your hair in record time and then you grab your phone. You sit for a while with his number on the screen, deciding whether or not you should call. Before you can overthink it too much, your phone rings in your hand.
“Hello?” You answer.
“(Y/N), it’s Daniel. What are you doing tonight?”
“Not a lot. Got no cases to work. Why? You feel like meeting up?”
“Well, maybe not quite so fancy, but I was wondering if you’d wanna come back to my place and order a pizza.”
You can practically hear the smile in his voice.
You think about it for a few seconds. Your mind goes to Renard and you quickly say, “Sure!”
He picks you up at seven and you head back to his place. He has a medium sized apartment and you can see that he’s made a small effort to clean up. Clothes are overflowing from the hamper and there’s still cleaning products out on the sides. You almost trip over the vacuum cord as you walk in.
“Sorry about the mess, I did try to clean the place up.” He says, smiling sheepishly.
You smile back and the two of you sit on the sofa together. A few hours pass and you eat pizza, talk, drink and talk some more. Before too long, he leans in and kisses you, and you kiss him back. When you pull away, he looks a little sad, but kind of laughs it off. You drink some more, but your mind keeps going back to Renard. Daniel sets his drink down on the table and you hold his face in your hands and kiss him forcefully, getting as close to him as possible. He takes your hand and leads you to the bedroom.
The next morning, you sneak out of Daniel’s bed and hurry out of his apartment, heading back to your place. When you walk in, you glance in the small mirror on the wall by your door. You take a closer look at yourself and you gasp. Your makeup from last night is smeared all over your face and your hair is an untameable mess. You rush to get a shower and manage to smooth your hair down, but decide to throw it into a ponytail rather than dry it. You change in to work appropriate clothes and head out, rushing to the precinct.
The entire station is chaos when you get there, and you run to find Nick and Hank to find out what’s going on.
“Double homicide and attempted suicide, let’s go.” Hank says before you even ask.
“Should be quick.” You remark.
You head out with Nick and Hank and they take you to a small cottage. Outside, on the porch steps, a man is sitting with police officers. He’s pressing a towel to his neck and there’s ambulance crew all around. You walk over to him, leaving Nick and Hank to talk to the other cops.
“So, you killed who exactly?” You ask, standing over him.
He looks up at you with tears rolling down his cheeks.
“The man. He’s my wife’s boyfriend.” He answers, sobbing.
“You caught them together, killed them both, realized what you’d done & failed to kill yourself?” You guess.
He shakes his head.
“He came here, caught me with my wife, didn’t know she was married. He killed her, tried to kill me too, but I fought him and I killed him in self-defence.”
“Bull.” You say shortly.
“It’s true. Please, believe me.”
You arrest the husband for manslaughter. When you get back to the precinct, Daniel is waiting outside. You head over to him with a huge smile on your face.
“Hey, what’s going on?” You ask, leaning up to kiss him.
He pulls away from you. You’re confused, and apparently it shows on your face, because he suddenly looks very angry.
“Why didn’t you tell me you’re screwing your Captain?” He spits.
“I … uh … what?!” You ask, shocked.
“Yeah, your boyfriend threatened me. So, thanks for that. Bye, (Y/N).” He snaps, storming off.
You rush into the precinct and straight into the Captain’s office without knocking.
“(Y/N), what are you-“ He starts.
“How dare you? You threatened the guy I was seeing! What is wrong with you?” You shout.
“He was brought in for questioning in a murder case. You wonder why I was concerned?” He asks.
“What is your game, Captain? I really can’t figure out what’s going on with you.” You demand.
“I care about you, okay?” He replies, starting to get angry.
“Oh, yeah, you care about how I do my job more like. Enough for you to destroy my happiness.” You turn to leave, but he grabs your arm.
He pulls you back and you turn around. Before you realise what’s happening, he kisses you forcefully, and you melt into it, kissing him back passionately. He pulls away at stares into your eyes.
“I was hoping to be your happiness.” He says, placing a small kiss on your forehead.

Request: Anonymous- Demon!Dean x reader please!
Maybe where reader helps care for sam's injuries and dean gets jealous because he likes her but hasn't told her yet, and want her to himself. Thanks xxx (You can do normal dean if you don't write for demon dean)
Your front door bursts open and the two men you live with, Sam and Dean Winchester, fly through, heading to your sofa. They’re both covered in blood and you rush to get supplies to help whoever is hurt.
“What happened?!” You demand.
“Sam got shot.” Dean answers, straightening up and sitting in your armchair.
You set about fixing Sam up and notice Dean’s eyes flick to black. You try to ignore what you saw as you tend to Sam.
“I’ve stabilised him, but it may be a while before he comes round. I’m going to have to recommend he rests. No hunts for a while, okay?” You tell Dean.
He nods and rests his head on one hand, looking bored.
Sam sleeps on the sofa and you go upstairs to bed, leaving Dean in the armchair.
The next morning, you’re tending to Sam again and you see Dean glancing over, flicking his eyes and frowning. You ignore it as long as you can, but that’s not long. You make sure Sam is stable enough for you to leave him, and drag Dean into the kitchen.
“What is your problem?” You snap.
“I don’t have a problem.” He barked.
You roll your eyes and make coffee.
“So what’s with all the eye flicking and dodgy looks?” You ask.
He turns away from you.
You roll your eyes again and take a cup of coffee to Sam, who’s now awake.
Dean walks through and storms out of the house, slamming the door behind him.
“What was that about?” Sam asks.
You shake your head slightly, sighing, “No idea.”
You spend the day watching over Sam, feeding him, giving him water, cleaning his wound and talking to him. He drifts in and out of sleep, leaving you time to clean up the house.
Hours later, Dean returns. You’re in the kitchen making coffee and wiping down the sides when he comes in. He leans against the side and you glance over at him.
“(Y/N)?” He requests.
You nod at him slightly and he comes a little closer.
“I’m sorry for earlier. I appreciate you helping Sam.” He sighs, running a hand over his face.
You smile and cross the room to hug him. He pulls you in close and then holds you at arm’s length.
“I was acting like a real jerk earlier, and I gotta tell you. I’m jealous. I know it’s crazy, but that’s why I acted like an ass.” He confesses.
“Jealous?” You repeat, shocked. “Of what?!”
“Sam. I just … I wish you would look after me like that. I really like you, (Y/N).” He tells you, glancing down. “I guess I just want you all to myself.”
You laugh slightly and hug him again. He kisses the top of your head and you smile into his chest.
