The Captain sat in the quite restaurant poking at her Shepard's pie. The crust was a bit soggy and the flavors weren't as rich as she hoped and by now she had regretted ordering it at all. As she sat idly, her pocket companion began to beep in it's shrill, metallic tone that she dreaded to hear. Just as the beeping increased, the bell of the door rang and the Captain's eyes followed the new comer.
She watched them momentarily before looking down at the small computer and smiling to herself. Clearly, it was trying to guide her (whether or not it was a useful destination was yet to be seen). Gathering her stuff up, the Captain slid from the booth and stopped in front of them, nearly tripping in herself in the process.
"You've got that look in your eye." The Captain commented, pulling her coat off the table," It's screaming, 'I want an adventure'." Her arms slipped easily into her coat and she readjusted her gun holster, that had been shifted when she stood. "What do you say? Care for a little adventure?"
