“Exactly,” she continued, her grin impossibly wide as her eyes shined. “C'mon, Buffy,” she cooed, closing the small gap between them in order to pull the Slayer against her, “Live a little.” Glory pressed a kiss to her cheek before adding, “I’ll be right beside you. To protect you from the big scary ride.” She kissed her aagain, trailing a hand along Buffy’s side, “You can pick the next one.”
Giving the best pout she could muster, Buffy's eyes fluttered shut for a moment as she cherished the soft kiss against her cheek. It was a small notion and yet it still ignited butterflies in the Slayer’s stomach. “Hm, touche. Okay, you win. The big, scary ride wouldn’t stand a chance if you kicked its butt.” Cheering up considerably from that thought, athough still slightly terrified, Buffy held onto Glory’s hand tightly as they got closer to the ride’s entrance, almost ready for their turn. “Please don’t let go of my hand...” She squeaked quietly as they were ushered towards the seats which were currently being evacuated by sickly looking people.
