I MET A BOY
I met a boy ...
He entered my life with the force of high-tides crashing waves. As I gradually learned more about him, I drowned motionlessly as I completely immersed myself in the warmth of his heart. I lied gracefully and paralyzed on the shore of vulnerability. He shattered my fears and exposed my guarded heart.
With no clear directions or rules, we found each other in the midst of uncertainty, and embarked on a blind journey together. It was thrilling and emotionally intense. Sexual desires were explored and satisfied. Barriers collapsed and became nonexistent. A whirlwind romance soon ensued. I invested my heart without the guarantee of his.
I gave myself to him, but he was unprepared and unsure. Despite this, I journeyed on with him. My patience thinly stretched as I waited for answers, for certainty, for him. The absence of such concreted over and caused an arduous journey back. We met one last time, to share one last hug and one last kiss. The tearful parting was painful, but inevitable as I knew I lost him to the quiet tide on the ebb.
Weekend
This weekend was incredible..... I think that's the best and only way to describe it... I attended the American Collegiate Dance Festival (ACDFA) for the 2nd year in a row... (but on a different coast)
It was a long ass weekend, but I don't think I'd want it any other way. Rainbows of emotions
Taking dance classes along side people from all over the California area was amazing. I love living out here, I love seeing the passion at an all time high. I keep reminding myself of how I semi feel the east coast is lacking certain elements and it was just a great experience.
The concerts although quiet long and tiring were just as great. The movement was beautiful and I saw tons and tons of concepts. I got to perform with my school to and it was AWESOME. I loved every second
Of course nothing would be complete without a boy right? lol I met a guy who is pretty incredible and of course lives mad far, but none the less I got to know him... It sucks cause idk when or if I'll ever see him again... I hope maybe it plays out... maybe not... Either way I need to learn to just accept indifference... maybe thats what this is for... to teach me to learn about that... TODAY i'm back on the work grind for school... I'm taking 4 classes and all are kicking my butt... lets get on the leg, cleaned up, grocery store, and hit the ground running!! PS I totally need to start working out more
