crystal gems frst!! homeworld tomorrow. lets go boiz

morganite first off. shes gone thru the most design-wise and im still not rly satisfied w her outfit

morganites are gems designed to be guards, but pretty. for high ranking gems who dont want the look of bulky quartzes, but still want the strength. she joined the rebellion bc she was tired of being treated like a doll. she uses a sword, and her gem is on her chest.

shes a defective quartz soldier from the beta kindergarten. too short, too skinny, needs enhancers for her legs. they have wheels in them, though and she goes super fast. she joined the rebellion bc she was tried of being treated like the dirt she popped out of. her gem is on her upper back, between her shoulder blades, and she primarily uses speed as her weapon

tanzanite. im so satisfied w her outfit and design

tanzanites, as a stone, are pleochronistic, meaning they change colour in different lights. so i figured it wouldnt be too much of a stretch for a gem to have the same properties! they are, after all, hard light.

tanzanites are designed for entertainment. they dance under different lights to create a show, and have two mouths, so they can harmonize by themselves. tanzanite joined the rebellion because she hated dancing, actually. she wanted to fight. her gem is on her lower back, and her weapon is undecided
