It was nearing nightfall when she finished shopping. Her little girl was growing so fast that it was difficult to keep up. At least it gave her an excuse to buy pretty dresses and little hairbows even if it wasn’t for herself. Swinging her bags slightly, she walked cheerfully home as she quietly whistled a song George wrote for her a few weeks ago.
