I am actually offended that Inmergo doesn’t have more notes. Like, that was the most painful, beautifully paced slow burn fic I’ve ever read (Oikawa angst is always wonderful), and it also had such a beautiful payoff at the end?? I have no idea how long it must have taken you but THANK YOU SO MUCH for putting in all that hard work, because it was an absolute blessing 🙏 (PS: The Spotify playlist captured the feel of it perfectly and was such a lovely bonus!) ❤️

I’m a little honored actually -- I’m very new to the Haikyuu!! fandom so I wasn’t expecting much. Every note that Immergo has is wonderful to me, and when I get messages and comments like this, the notes matter a little less :’) 

I’ll be honest, I probably wrote the first ~9k in 6 or 7 hours? That’s when inspiration was at its highest. But then I got busy with final assignments and everything so productivity decreased A LOT. All in all, it took about a week and a half -- seriously, all of it is worth it to get messages like these!! Thank YOU for reading it!! I’m just so happy you liked it! 

Also thank you for commenting on the playlist!! I’ve never done that before with any of my other stories, but I really wanted to with Immergo for some reason. For most of the time I was writing it, I couldn’t help but think of ‘Call Out My Name’?? It seemed suitable, even though the lyrics didn’t 100% apply to the scenario. But the tone and music was something that stuck, and I ended up really liking the acoustic guitar cover I eventually put in the playlist. I was worried about if the playlist would be TOO disjointed -- I know it is to some degree, but I was mainly hoping it didn’t come off as just random songs put together.

Okay let me just say that I read immergo in an hour and a half and it’s one of the best things that I’ve ever read and was something that I have been wanting to read for a while now. It was truly B E A I T I F U L the angst and just everything about it was so good. But the ending really got me like when they all dropped her off at the airport and she left for America and when her and oikawa we’re finally together at the end that’s when the tears came out.

you're really out here trying to make ME cry at 7 in the morning 🤧🤧 i'm so happy that you enjoyed it!!! and that the ending affected you that way!!!! writing the ending was pretty moving for me as well -- i felt like i could finally take in deep breaths compared to when writing all the angst before it.
